01 / Reveal Profiles

Page content reveals at the readable viewport edge.

Content remains ordinary page content. The runtime observes explicit reveal owners, applies one reversible state, and leaves unmarked Squarespace animations alone.

The accepted trigger band uses an 8 percent top and bottom viewport inset. Reduced motion returns every owner to immediate readable rest.

Quiet Fade

Opacity only

A restrained entry for text-led surfaces where spatial movement would add noise.

Soft Rise

Fourteen pixels of lift

A small vertical return gives grouped content a clear arrival without shifting layout.

Gentle Scale

Almost already there

Scale starts at .985 and resolves to rest on the visual owner only.

Editorial Reveal

Clip releases with the copy

The bottom inset opens while opacity and a short rise resolve together.

Owner boundary

Component internals keep their own behavior.

Reveal can wrap a component as one outer visual owner without changing Card Indicator state, Journey state, media planes or scroll transforms inside it.

02 / Journey Library

One live Journey, five documented variants.

The accepted page specimen keeps Environmental Magnify live. The other variants move into library references so production pages can choose deliberately.

Live specimen / Environmental Magnify

  1. 01

    Orient

Active scale remains the accepted general-purpose emphasis.

  2. 02

    Frame

Near and far cards recede without layout movement.

  3. 03

    Support

The card indicator ring remains one-shot.

  4. 04

    Resolve

Mobile keeps the accepted 52 percent focus line.

FR

Focus Rail

Pointer lens variant documented as a library choice.

QD

Quadrant Field

Two by two linked-state behavior retained for reference.

RY

Relay Progress

Past, active and future stages stay available as a variant contract.

RX

Rolodex Journey

Depth and restrained rotation remain archived outside the live specimen.

03 / Sticky Release Stack

The stack exists first, then releases in order.

The focus shell centers the stack in the viewport. Visual planes unstick upward while the layout host remains stable.

01

Intake

The first card begins at the front plane before it releases upward.

02

Context

As card 01 releases, card 02 advances continuously toward the viewer.

03

Pattern

The sequence is deterministic and reconstructs exactly on reverse scroll.

04

Support

Released cards are not faded by the sticky runtime.

05

Plan

Reversible reveal handles ordinary viewport re-entry; this stack owns only its release transforms.

04 / Spatial Zoom

Scroll position is the clock.

Cards near the reading plane sit at full scale and strongest shadow. Cards away from the 52 percent focus line move deeper into Z.

01

Arrive

No delayed settling occurs after scrolling stops.

02

Read

Depth, scale and shadow are mapped directly from the card center.

03

Compare

Reverse scrolling reverses the state immediately.

04

Continue

The layout host remains outside the transformed visual plane.

05 / Hero Cinematic Crop

The frame stays fixed while the crop breathes.

1D.9 owns the scroll plane. 1D.8B still owns the pointer-response variables on the nested media visual.

Nested planes

Pointer and scroll transforms compose.

Overlay drift remains subtle and independent from the image crop.

The frame geometry remains allocated by the media frame, not by the parallax plane.

06 / Gallery Offset Lanes

Columns keep their tracks while visual lanes drift.

Gallery layout remains fixed. Lane and crop offsets live inside visual planes, with reduced motion returning everything to readable rest.
