Rhyen Jivan

I am the Digital Systems Assistant at Affiniti+. I build and look after the systems behind our services, from the website and Learning Hub to our clinical workflows.

I first came to Affiniti+ as a client, so I approach my work from the user's side. I ask what it is like to find us, get in touch, book and use our resources, and I work to remove anything that gets in the way.

My role covers website development, digital infrastructure and clinical technology. I build bespoke web components and automated processes, and help design electronic health record and clinical workflow systems for psychology services. Much of my work is spotting where a process could work better and turning practical and clinical needs into reliable digital solutions.

Alongside my work at Affiniti+, I am a final-year MEng Mechanical Engineering student at University College London, with interests in computational modelling, fluid dynamics, software development and simulation-led engineering.

Outside work and university, I train regularly at the gym, am learning to play guitar, and read widely, from fantasy and Greek mythology to history and murder mysteries.
